trump not smart enough to be an Oligarch

One of the common beliefs is that our newest president is leading us toward an oligarchy. The truth is the new president isn’t smart enough to be an oligarch. During the election, the common theme was that we needed a businessman to run the government. The problem is that’s exactly what has happened. In public trump is a car salesman, willing to say anything to get his followers to buy what he is selling, but in his convoluted mind, he is doing what is best for his company, America Inc. The current president, from birth, has never lived within any kind of democratic framework. Nothing in his life experience has exposed him to democratic thinking. So he comes into office and runs America with the mindset that he is most familiar with, business. So in that frame of mind, all citizens are viewed as his employees who, through their labor, support his company. Shortly after he swore an oath to the “Word” Constitution, he brought in another rich man who lacks empathy or knowledge of how a Republic operates. His role is to cut what in a businessman’s mindset would be perceived as departments that are draining the business’s profit margin. Departments that don’t bring in money but only spend it all need major cuts. Another business tactic is to put into effect tariffs on any commerce coming into the country. Touted as a strategy for bargaining, but in reality is another tax on its citizens but in his business mind, this too is seen as another money stream and is a good thing, adding to America Inc.’s profits.

The new “Donated 747” will cost American taxpayers an estimated one billion dollars to retrofit in order to become the new Air Force One. However, the idea of acquiring this plane is inspired by an ego-based idea that when Air Force One travels abroad and pulls onto the tarmac next to all the other countries’ leaders’ planes, it will command more respect and exemplify wealth. Unfortunately, at the end of his term, according to the deal, he will take the plane with him, leaving whatever is left of America still needing another Air Force One aircraft. Everything he does points to his business background as the foundation of his strategy for running America Inc. This is the same guy who was amazed that they don’t touch the French fries with their hands when serving at McDonald’s and also claimed migrants were eating cats and dogs. During a televised interview, he was asked if he was going to follow the Constitution; his reply was, “I don’t know.”

As a businessman, the only other oath he had taken was in court, where he was convicted of 34 felonies. Perhaps he only saw taking the Oath of office as a formality and not a serious commitment.

So when I say he isn’t smart enough to be an oligarch, I mean just that, unfortunately, the people in his circle are smart enough and know how to stroke his ego just the right way so he will scribble his signature across any document put before him.

The people he has installed into the heads of the various departments should be aware that their abdicating their own moral values will not go unnoticed in history. In this modern world of social media, the actions they are taking will not fade. These people are leading our country down the path to crimes against humanity. Those same people turning a blind eye should remember that all the defendants being prosecuted at the Nuremberg trials after World War 2, were all following orders too. Every day, there are more and more examples of this president, who has zero democratic experience, being clueless about how to run a Democratic Republic. Like cutting Medicaid because it’s an expenditure that does nothing but drain money from America Inc., Cutting or eliminating the Department of Education, and banning books because educating future employees is not seen as a value to the future of the America Inc. business model. This is the same logic as cutting FEMA’s help for disaster victims. There is no money in it. However, having ICE detain people in private detention centers is a money maker. The private owners of those detention centers profit when people are transferred from one center to another for a predetermined amount of time. Again, ICE officers should also be aware of history because there will come a time when “just following orders” will not be a valid defense.

As a businessman who has filed for bankruptcy 6 times, this president has no idea that there is no filing for bankruptcy for America Inc. Bankrupting America is called a Recession and will forever brand his name in the history books as the cause. The damage to America’s image abroad can’t be repaired. When Biden went to the G-7 and proclaimed, “We are back.” The response was, “For how long?”

The world is finding that it can no longer be partners with this America. The idea of the BRICS financial system, once seen as a fantasy, is now being seen by more countries as a more inclusive concept than the demands and inconsistencies of the current system. By following this trickle-down immorality created by this administration and supported by the Republican majority, America has lost all credibility on the world stage. If we are going to pull ourselves out of a world economy to become a nationalized country, then we will need to be ready to stand alone from here on out.
