Buddhist co-pilot

From what I hear, there appears to be an increase in the persecution of Christians. I’m not sure there is more than with any other religion. Muslims seem to be getting their fair share. The Jews have had to deal with persecution throughout history. From what I can gather, these separate religions appear to be based on similar foundations. They are based on Peace and love for their fellow man. Treating others as they would like to be treated themselves. There doesn’t seem to mention condemning others who hold different beliefs. Although I hear that one is more genuine and the rest are fake, that appears to come from interpretation.
Perhaps it’s time to look at these different religions and integrate more of these belief systems into our social fabric. Except for the color of our skin, there is basically no physical difference between us all. As a whole, we are humans to the bone. There is a need for these differences in our many religions to be respected and complement one another.
For instance, in Christianity, it is written that there will come a time of “Harpazo or Rapturo.” A time of Snatching or taking away. Some call it the Rapture, although that word cannot be found in the bible. If we are to respect this belief as a fact and Christians genuinely believe in helping all humankind, then perhaps we should structure our society to accentuate this belief. For instance, every Christian who works in dangerous fields should have specific safeguards instituted for when, in the twinkling of an eye, the true believer is to be raised up:
“to meet Jesus in the clouds.” A safeguard that should be instituted would be that no Christian would be allowed to be the pilot-in-command of an aircraft without a Buddhist Co-pilot standing by in the right seat. Another would be that Christian surgeons would have to have another Surgeon of the Muslim faith standing by to jump in and take over before the scalpel hits the floor. Athiest nurses are a must. Some careers will have to be off-limits for Christians altogether—no big rig truck drivers or drivers of any motor vehicle for that matter. For sure nuclear power plant operator would be out, a ski lift operator. Most amusement ride operators etc. Any job that, if left unattended, has the potential to injure someone of lesser faith would have to be off-limits.
True believers of the Christian faith should not have any problem with these new regulations as they will be doing their part by looking out for their fellow man.
An actual tenant of Jesus’s teachings.
As we examine other religions, I’m sure we will find similar beliefs that we will have to implement equivalent safeguards to the rest of society. After all, those left behind should not be forced into an opportunity to use the lord’s name in vain. Maybe before we condemn another of our fellow human beings for their beliefs, we look at our own and how deep our personal convictions are.
Because in the end, it’s our humanity that is to the bone.
